This Damper mounts to the handlebar between the two handlebar clamps. Handlebar positions are counted from the closest to the rider #1 out. Standard position may not be your bikes stock position please double check the handlebars position on your bike.
This steering damper is used by Factory KTM and Factory Husqvarna racers. It has 20 low speed adjustments with detente clicks. For MX/XC with self adjusting high-speed and ARC (adjustable free return to center). The linkage is greased and sealed for long life and is adjustable for wear. The unit as shown weighs under 1 Lb (450 grams) and is rebuildable.
Chose the right damper for you
Off-Road/Desert is best for high-speeds, has slightly more damping in the center helps keep the back tire behind you. Also good for Flat-track and Supermoto
MX/XC is best for turning, has slightly less damping in the center for better turn initiation, traction, and rut control. Good for Single-track, MX and XC
